Caitlin Price has never been able to walk away from someone in trouble, even when her impulsive acts of kindness come at a cost. Perhaps that’s why, when she notices a strange girl about to leap toward the train tracks, she can’t stop herself from intervening.
Much to her surprise, her damsel in distress is not at all grateful for being saved.
Why did the mysterious girl want to end her life? Maybe it's better not to know...
★ Square One is a visual novel about bonding and growth. It tells the story of the relationship that blooms between an impulsive optimist and the troubled girl she pulls back from the brink of despair. Follow Caitlin and the strange girl on their journey of self-discovery, healing, and love... while uncovering a few mysteries along the way.

Well, no updates for more than a year and "taking a break" doesnt give much hope. Most likely this story will be abandoned if not already. Sad reality.
Really sad, i liked it a lot, nicely written and drawn. Came here after a long while after reading demo, wanted to buy full, but instead saw all this.

i hope commissions and individual projects are going well for everyone who's part of patchwork princess :) you guys must work super hard and creating a visual novel takes hard work, and considering it was for no pay its understandable that it would be very difficult, as for what projects you are doing now, good job and keep at it❤️
i check in from time to time to see how the VN is going, i know its gonna be absolutely amazing when the full game does come out, you guys are awesome :)

I love every thing about this VN, the ending made me cry a little and I think the story is very natural and feels really touching like, I'm really invested now in what's gonna happen to Leila (and Caitlin too). I hope the whole game comes out really soon!

Oh my god, this is perfect. I love the UI and it's transition animations. It leaves a nice touch.
It was presented in a way that is easy to read and understand but also have a serious story which I love. The art style of the game is beautiful too.

At this current moment in time we don't have an exact release date. Everyone on the team has a demanding schedule and job commitments, so we're doing our best. What I can say is that we'll post updates in the devlogs as we make progress! ★

If i had to pick a visual novel that does everything right this would probably be it. From almost perfect UI design to catchy BGM to just well balanced charming writing and ultimately mercilessly plucking my heart strings...
